Dr Xiaoxiang Na

Xiaoxiang Na is an Assistant Professor in Applied Mechanics at Cambridge University Engineering Department (CUED). His research focuses on developing hardware and software tools for measuring, evaluating, and understanding energy consumption and carbon emissions of road freight vehicles.

Xiaoxiang received his BSc and MSc degrees in Automotive Engineering from the College of Automotive Engineering, Jilin University, China in 2007 and 2009, respectively. He received the PhD degree in Driver-Vehicle Dynamics Group at CUED in 2014. He worked as a Research Associate and Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight (SRF) from 2014 to 2023, before taking his current position.
