Dr Manuel Llorca

Manuel Llorca is a Research Fellow at Durham University Business School and Early Career Fellow at Durham Energy Institute. He holds a PhD from the University of Oviedo and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Universities of the Basque Country, Cantabria and Oviedo.

His research interests include the analysis of rebound effects and fuel demand in transport, efficiency and productivity analysis of utilities, energy networks, energy issues in developing countries, fuel poverty and electricity sector reform.

He is also a Research Associate at the Oviedo Efficiency Group and has been Academic Visitor at the Energy Policy Research Group (University of Cambridge).
