Jyoti Mandhani has been a Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight since July 2022. She received her PhD in Transportation Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. Her research interests encompass transportation planning, sustainability and travel behaviour with a focus on human behaviour modelling through data analytic techniques to encourage behavioural change towards more sustainable transport, and in exploring solutions to overcome organizational inertia in achieving net zero emission targets. Jyoti’s current research work at Heriot-Watt University centres on public consultations work for developing sustainable transportation in national parks through qualitative research methodology. Her research also involves exploring the organisational change process to address the climate change crisis. |
