Julian Allen is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Westminster. His current research interests include urban freight transport operations, the role of transport policy in addressing negative impacts of logistics operations, and developments in retail logistics and logistics land use.

Julian’s research for the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight focuses on the corporate and public policy relevance of the Centre’s work, and the technological and operational findings of road freight transport studies more widely. He is also involved in the urban logistics and consumer behaviour elements of the Centre’s work.
