Bashar Alhnaity has been a Research Associate in Data Science at the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight since May 2022. He received a PhD degree in Machine Learning from Brunel University London. His research focused on empirical modelling of time series data, sensor and signal processing, and prediction using Machine & Deep learning techniques. His past and current activity involves working with national and international collaborators to build end-to-end Machine & Deep learning solutions and data-driven products. Since joining, Bashar has been investigating and developing algorithms for identifying and evaluating logistics demands and supply factors. Current work involvement ex. (Data-driven approach for inverse freight demand to infer HGV movements, and Estimate the HGV origin-destination flows using GPS data). |
