Dr Anil Kunnappillil Madhusudhanan

Anil was a Senior Research Associate (2020-21) and Research Associate (2017-20) at the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight, University of Cambridge. He is now a Lecturer in Future Mobility Systems at the University of Southampton.

In the past, he has worked at the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) as a Junior Scientist (2015-17). At TNO, he worked on vehicle dynamics control, vehicle state estimation and autonomous driving projects. During the years 2006 to 2009, he worked at ST Microelectronics, Indian Institute of Science and Cranes Software for one year each.

Anil received his PhD (2016) and MSc Cum Laude in Systems and Control (2011) from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. His PhD and MSc theses were on Lateral Vehicle Dynamics Control and Vehicle State Estimation, and on State Dependent Riccati Equation based Integrated Vehicle Dynamics Control, respectively. He obtained his Bachelor of Technology (2006) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Allahabad, India
