Dr Ananda Prasanna Jagadeesan

A. P. Jagadeesan is a research associate at Heriot-Watt University in its Logistics Research Centre, where he is developing a software tool which logistics companies can use to extract, transform and load their logistics data to CSRF.

Prasanna gained a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from The Robert Gordon University, UK (2006) and then worked as a software developer for Shapespace Ltd. In June 2008, he joined the University of Strathclyde where his group successfully investigated the use of crowdsourcing technology for solving engineering problems such as 3D Shape Similarity, 2D strip/bin packing, bridging urban/rural development and patent classification. He was also a lead front-end developer for an EU funded FP7 project called ManuCloud.
