| Aghdas Badiee has been a Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight since February 2023. She received her PhD in Industrial Engineering (Socio-Economy System Engineering, Optimization and Statistics) from the Iran University of Science and Technology. Her interests cover mathematics, particularly data-driven decision making, operations research and logistics systems, and has a background in developing optimization tools for network design with applications to the transportation procurement, freight distribution and humanitarian services. Aghdas is working on the development of Heriot-Watt University’s MILES system (Multimodal Integrated Logistics Evaluation Simulation). |
