The winners of the UK trucking industry’s 39th Motor Transport Awards were announced last night in London.
Congratulations to three members of the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight (also members of Project JOLT) who won awards:
1. Flexible Power Systems: Best use of Technology Award
2. Knowles Logistics:
* Business Excellence Award
* Sustainable Transport Award.
3. Justin Laney of John Lewis & Partners: Service to Industry Award
Justin has been Chair of the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight for the past 10 years and has a huge contribution to the Centre as well as to the industry.
These are fantastic achievements showing real industry leadership by members of the SRF. Congratulations and well done!
Project JOLT was also short-listed for the Partnership Award… but unfortunately wasn’t good enough to beat the stiff competition on the night!
